The Filipino American Arts Exposition (Pistahan) brings you the Sine! Sine!: Filipino American Film Festival on Friday August 15th- Saturday August 16th. The Pistahan parade and festival was founded in 1994 and has been consistently held in the oval gardens of the Yerba Buena Center. The FAAE, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that contributes to the artistic and cultural pride of the Filipino commuity, organizes the annual event.
Along side the first ever San Francisco Filipino American Jazz Festival held at the Metreon's action theatre, FAAE's Sine Sine film festival will grasp our mission in celebrating Filipino American history, art, and culture through documentaries, short films, and music videos written, produced, directed, and starring Filipino Americans from the Bay Area.
